Well, it was AWESOME!
About a hundred people, kids and families and dogs and a bounce house!
It was a great fun success, but perhaps not a financial success. We rely on activities throughout the year, but especially dues and raffle funds to support the party.
Recommended $20/family. Please contact Jeff, our treasurer, to pay dues and make a donation! And please feel free to share this email with anyone you know who may not yet be on our mailing list.
There are a lot of people to thank:
- Ronit Bezalel, the family Photographer who was taking excellent pictures
- The City of Chicago for the Bounce House!
- Tina, who ran the Dog and pet enrichment program, and was the organizer for the dog competition
- Or neighbor Bob for his beautiful guitar playing and vocals
- the performers from the School of Rock and their astounding talent
- The DJ who kept us dancing through the night
- Ron for his generous offering up of the tables and benches
- Lori and Mollie for the Maker space
- Our Alder Leni’s office for the Bounce house, and the work to close the street
- Jocelyn, who designed the flyer
- Noah, who showed up early, brought chairs, cooler and ice on the fly
