BARGE: the home for the Chicago BARGE Neighbors Block Club.
Welcome! The BARGE block club is bordered by: Broadway, Ardmore, Ridge, Glenwood and Early. Find the map here.
Our goals are simple:
a) Beautification: To maintain the common gardens and to prevent the deterioration of buildings, sidewalks, streets, and alleys within the BARGE neighborhood.
b) Safety: To encourage the prevention of crime and improve public safety, whether personal, property, or vehicular, within the BARGE neighborhood and surrounding area.
c) Representation: To give the BARGE community a voice in local matters and in dealings with locally elected officials, community councils, schools, and other local departments and bureaus.
d) Community: To strengthen those relationships that further a sense of community by sponsoring social events and welcoming new neighbors.
